She decided to step up and run for City Commission after being approached with the idea by some passionate community members and like great Teddy Roosevelt once said, she decided to get in the arena and make a difference. She believes it is up to each of us to do what we can to be involved with our community. For some, like herself, that means serving. Turnberg would like to be a part of working towards the common goal of making our community better for all residents.
